Today I’m joining with my fellow Ladder Bloggers (A wonderful group of ladies I blog with!) to share some fantasitc giveaways with our beloved readers. A bunch of us have each chosen a few of our favorite things to giveaway on our blogs, and we’re all linking to each other, like a giant, progressive ‘dinner’ of giveaway goodness.   10. I have so many favorite things, but the one that comes to mind right now is essential oils. I use them daily. Frankincense in particular has helped my fibrocystic breasts to normalize! They are truly a gift from God : )

    • wow that’s so neat! I know Zane and Kandy through Super Summer OK. My co worker and I flew down 2 years ago and Kandy let us observe and copy SUper Summer. Last year we started SSNY and Kandy came up here to help us get started, They are wonderful! And how neat they go to your Dad’s church. What a small world!

  15. It is kind of crazy, but I haven’t read many of Elisabeth Elliot’s books, and I’ve always meant to! I think Keep a Quiet Heart or a Chance to Die would be good ones to start with. 🙂

    • Hmm I’ve actually never read those ones either! But they are on my list of her books I want to get! Currently reading “Be Still My Soul” I’ve been wondering if “Keep a Quiet Heart will Be Similiar” ? 🙂

  17. Singing hymns and spiritual songs is one of my favorite things. I just blogged about the hymn “Be Still, My Soul” last week, and that is one Elisabeth Elliot book I lack, so if I won your lovely giveaway, that would be my choice.

  30. One of my favorite things is having a “slumber party” on the living room floor with my husband and kids watching movies and eating popcorn. I have never read anything from this author,, but I love reading Christian novels.

    • Jessica, I love slumber parties too! Once a year I host a girls night and we have a big sleep Over -er rather we sleep when it’s over! If you like Novels, you might like Eliot’s Passion and Purity (the story of how she and her husband got together)

  31. I have too many favorite things-hot chocolate with whipped cream, a good book on a cold day, rainy afternoons in which I get to take a nap-I could go on and on. I love Elisabeth too-her book, “The Shaping of a Christian Family” changed everything for me.

    • Naps! I hear you! They are rare and a favorite too! I haven’t read that one yet! But you are the second person to mention it. I think it might need to be bumped closer to the top of my list! 🙂 Her book on Loneliness dramatically changed my life.

    I am re-building my Elisabeth Elliot collection this year and there are some books that I’m still missing so I’d love to win. She is my all time favorite author and her books have comforted me, given me hope, and guided me in many situations in life.

  43. Keep a Quiet Heart is one of my favorite Elisabeth Elliot books. It’s actually a collection of shorter pieces from her newsletters. Quite a treasure trove, I think. Thanks for the link to a list of her book: even though I’m a longtime fan of hers, there are several books I have never heard of or read. What fun!

    One of my favorite things is…baking challah bread, and then feeding it to people. 🙂
