Some days are just about living.
And these days are also a gift from God.
Behold, what I have seen to be good and fitting is to eat and drink and find enjoyment in all the toil with which one toils under the sun the few days of his life that God has given him, for this is his lot. Everyone also to whom God has given wealth and possessions and power to enjoy them, and to accept his lot and rejoice in his toil—this is the gift of God. For he will not much remember the days of his life because God keeps him occupied with joy in his heart. Ecc 5:18-19
I worked 14 hours today. It was exhausting, but I was also occupied with laughter and joy in my heart. Below are some snap shots of living fully alive today. (Hint, You may want to stick around and watch the short clip at the end – Where in my goofy side is revealed and some hair is lost.)
As I strapped one little guy into a harness and tighten down the straps, he said in a deep baritone voice, pulling up his barely three and a half foot frame: “Gee! You are strong for a lady”. I could not constrain my laughter!
The weather was chilly at times, but the sun peeking through the dark clouds made it glorious!
After helping harness children in the Urobundgy and pulling cables for hours I decided I really should experience it as well. My face says it all! A few back flips may have occurred. (Hmmm… maybe thats why my back is sore!)
And last but not least, here is the promised video in which I wear a velcro suit of many colors.
